The third Nomad trip of the year was made up of a father son team from the central coast. Kicking off just as I always wish for, anchoring on sun rise, no boats, perfect weather and some grinding right handers just as a treat.
The next few days conditions remained the same nice swell and light winds. The frothing groms made great use of our speed boat sniffing the best waves in the area any time of the day.
With a fresh swell on the way we made a long overnight passage and were not disappointed. With the long period swell and light winds came together and gave us a few mind bending days.
Unfortunately our great run of waves came to an end thanks to some horrible weather from a low pressure system, our light wind and long period swell were replace with rain and tropical storms, not ideal surfing conditions but surprisingly we were still able to get a few fun waves for the final days.
