The Nomad finished her scheduled surf season in 2012 a little earlier to get started on her major re-design and refit. The super structure of the new saloon was built between surfs anchored out the front of Resort Latitude Zero in late November with Australian chippie, Mark Byrne lending a hand.
Bunks moved slightly forward, new saloon, larger engine room and storage, extra ballast, Captain quarters for Captain Albert and water-maker being installed, are a few of the changes. Not to mention dry-dock to check all planking, bolts, ribs and the main engine overhaul.
All this makes for a new look with more hangout areas for the guests, a safer and stronger vessel that we are confident in sending you to sea on board. Allowing you to think about nothing but chasing waves in comfort along with the Boomerang Speedboat with her 2 x 150hp Suzuki 4-stroke engines.
We love our boats and we love working on them, improving them every year to make them better.
